As a fully integrated all-in-one utility device, this RF modulator simplifies the entire signal processing workflow, from input reception to RF output, with no requirement for additional auxiliary equipment. It is equipped with 3 dedicated Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) data ports, each optimized to efficiently gather IP Transport Streams (TS) via UDP/RTP protocols-industry-standard transport methods for reliable, low-latency media transmission. Each GigE port supports concurrent input of up to 128 IP streams, including both Single Program Transport Streams (SPTS) and Multi Program Transport Streams (MPTS), ensuring robust compatibility with diverse IPTV content sources and large-volume program delivery needs.
To enhance versatility and backward compatibility with traditional broadcast infrastructure, the modulator also features 6 independent ASI (Asynchronous Serial Interface) input ports. These ports allow seamless integration with legacy ASI-based broadcast equipment, enabling mixed processing of IP and ASI signal sources. This hybrid input capability gives operators the flexibility to combine content from modern IP networks and traditional local sources, all within a single device-streamlining system architecture, reducing hardware costs, and simplifying content scheduling and management.
