OVERVIEW
The DMB-8808A-EC is a stable and cost-effective 8-channel HD IPTV encoder designed for medium to large-scale audio and video distribution systems. Built on a mature H.264 compression platform, it supports real-time HD/SD audio and video acquisition through 8 independent HDMI input interfaces. Each HDMI channel can generate two separate IP streams with distinct resolutions (up to 1080p@60fps) and adjustable bit rates, allowing flexible adaptation to different display devices and network bandwidth environments.
Equipped with full compatibility for mainstream streaming protocols including HLS, RTMP, HTTP, RTSP and UDP, the encoder can transmit high-quality H.264 streams to a wide range of media servers and platforms for IPTV and OTT services. These include popular streaming platforms such as Facebook Live, YouTube Live and Ustream, as well as professional media servers including Adobe Flash Server, Wowza Media Server and Windows Media Server. It also works seamlessly with custom servers based on HLS, UDP, RTSP, RTMP, HTTP and ONVIF standards.
To ensure secure and authorized transmission, the encoder supports username and password authentication for RTMP streaming, effectively preventing unauthorized access and ensuring stable and secure content delivery for commercial broadcasting applications.

Dual‑stream Output per Channel: Each HDMI input supports up to 2 groups of TS over IP streams with independent resolutions and bit rates, enabling multi-screen and multi-scenario distribution.
Full Protocol Support: Simultaneously supports HLS, RTMP, HTTP, RTSP and UDP, ensuring stable streaming across different platforms and networks.
Flexible Bit Rate Control: Supports both CBR (Constant Bit Rate) and VBR (Variable Bit Rate) modes to balance image quality and bandwidth usage.
Rich OSD & Image Adjustment: Supports custom logo overlay, static text and scrolling caption settings. Image parameters including brightness, contrast, saturation and sharpness are fully adjustable.
Strong Terminal Compatibility: iOS devices such as iPhone, iPad and MacBook can play streams directly via HLS on a built-in browser without additional software. All types of decoders and terminals can access streams via RTMP using standard players like VLC.
Secure & Reliable Transmission: Supports RTMP authentication with username and password for IPTV servers. Fully supports HDCP copyright protection protocol for compatible and stable signal input.
Optimized for Commercial Use: Delivers high-quality video at low bit rates, ideal for multi-screen, multi-protocol and long-distance transmission scenarios.
