Overview

 

DMB-9581E Encoder/Modulator is an all-in-one device integrated encoding (MPEG-4/AVC H.264), multiplexing and modulation functions in one standard 1U case.

It can convert 8/12/16/20/24 HDMI signals ,IP and 2 ASI input to DVB-C/DVB-T/ISDB-T/ATSC

RF out in the frequency range of 50~960MHz.It is also equipped with 2 ASI ports and IP port to output TS.

Highly Integrated All-in-One Digital TV Frontend Solution

This device integrates real-time HD encoding, professional digital multiplexing, and multi-standard RF modulation into a single compact platform, eliminating the need for separate standalone equipment and simplifying end-to-end TV signal distribution architecture. It supports seamless access and mixed processing of diverse signal sources, including HDMI baseband inputs, 128-channel MPTS/SPTS streams over UDP/IP, and 2 independent ASI inputs. Any accessed source (HDMI, IP, or ASI) can be flexibly routed to any output port, delivering unmatched versatility for broadcast, hospitality, and cable TV front-end applications.

Comprehensive Signal Source Compatibility & Hybrid Input Support

Beyond core HDMI, IP, and ASI inputs, the device features extensive adaptability to mainstream digital TV tuner signals, with full compatibility for DVB-S/S2, DVB-C, DVB-T/T2, ISDB-T, and ATSC standards across satellite, cable, and terrestrial TV reception. It enables simultaneous hybrid input of HDMI HD signals and tuner frequency signals, with customizable configuration schemes such as 16-channel HDMI + 8-channel tuner (frequency point) input, perfectly adapting to diverse signal access requirements in different deployment scenarios.

The device delivers comprehensive output options to align with global transmission standards and project-specific needs:

IP Output: Supports 127-channel SPTS over UDP/RTP, plus 1 to 8 independent MPTS outputs for flexible IP stream distribution

ASI Output: Equipped with 2 fully independent ASI output interfaces for lossless baseband signal transmission

RF Output: Offers a wide range of customizable configurations, with 4/8/16-channel RF carrier outputs compatible with DVB-T, ATSC-T, ISDB-T/Tb, and DTMB terrestrial TV standards, or 16/32-channel QAM carrier outputs optimized for the DVB-C cable TV standard

*Special Note for ISDB-T Mode: When configured for ISDB-T RF output, only 1-channel ASI input is available; ISDB-T output only supports 2K transmission mode, and does not support 4K or 8K UHD signal processing.
