Overview
The DMB-5100E Series IP-to-RF modulator is engineered to accept content transmitted from IP core networks or CDN platforms, and convert such programming into digital RF signals for distribution through ISDB-T broadcast networks. This integrated all-in-one unit receives IP transport streams in UDP/RTP format via three Gigabit Ethernet data ports, with each port supporting up to 128 IP streams in SPTS or MPTS format. It also supports six ASI input channels. The device then modulates the combined IP and ASI input signals into 8, 16 or 24 non-adjacent ISDB-T RF carriers, making it ideal for markets including Japan, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina in South America.

The device delivers exceptional modulation performance, equipped with three Gigabit Ethernet data ports for IP signal input. Each port can handle up to 128 IP streams in SPTS or MPTS format, supporting UDP, RTP, unicast and multicast transmission.
It supports multi-carrier RF output capable of handling hundreds of channels, receiving a large number of IP streams and generating up to 8, 16 or 24 ISDB-T multi-channel RF signals. This allows the distribution of hundreds of standard-definition and high-definition programs through coaxial cables or terrestrial broadcast networks.
The unit makes highly efficient use of frequency resources by providing 8, 16 or 24 non-adjacent frequency outputs. The operating frequency range spans 96 to 864 MHz, with a total bandwidth of 768 MHz, allowing flexible frequency configuration across the entire available band.
