Overview
The DMB-5100E series IP-to-RF modulator is built to receive media content from IP backbones or CDN infrastructures and convert the programs into digital RF signals for ISDB-T broadcasting. This all-in-one compact device collects UDP/RTP IP transport streams through three Gigabit Ethernet ports, with each port supporting as many as 128 SPTS or MPTS IP streams. It also supports six ASI input channels. The unit then modulates the input IP and ASI signals into 8, 16, or 24 non-adjacent ISDB-T RF carriers, which is well suited for markets including Japan, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina in South America.

This device features strong modulation capabilities and comes with three Gigabit Ethernet data ports for IP input. Each port can handle up to 128 IP streams in SPTS or MPTS format, supporting UDP, RTP, unicast and multicast protocols.
With multi‑carrier RF output, it can receive hundreds of IP streams and generate up to 8, 16 or 24 ISDB‑T RF channels. This makes it possible to distribute hundreds of standard‑definition and high‑definition programs through coaxial cables or terrestrial broadcast systems.
It uses spectrum resources efficiently by providing 8, 16 or 24 non‑adjacent frequency outputs. The frequency range covers 96 to 864 MHz with a total bandwidth of 768 MHz, allowing flexible frequency assignment within the available band.
