Overview
DMB-8920 Four-Channel MPEG-2/H.264 HD Encoder features high performance, low latency and extremely low bit rates for DTV system, and adopts state-of-the-art video compression technology for MPEG-2 and H.264 changing seamlessly. Capable of powerful functions for audio encoding, supports MPEG1 Layer 2, LC-AAC, HE-AAC and Dolby AC3 by option. DMB-8920 is designed in standard 1U chassis, with a max. capability of Hot-Pluggable two modules (Each module can support 2 channels). The device provides input interface up to 4*HD-SDI or 4*HDMI, moreover, it has 2*ASI and 1*IP(UDP/RTP) output interfaces, after loss-less compression processing, SDI programs can through the ASI and IP ports in MPTS or SPTS. The empty packets filtering capable of IP out not only enable to provide more services in the limited bandwidth, but also largely enhance the utilization of spectrum source of IPTV system.
